Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin has been a surprise on "Dancing With the Stars" this season -- in that she has somehow managed to avoid elimination (and possibly even the bottom two) at all times this season despite having some of the lowest point totals from the judges. How does she explain it? In a new interview with People Magazine, the reality TV mom credits a number of people from different demographics:
“I think it’s moms and women...The fan base is [ages] 2 to 102. I imagine it’s people who believe in me more than I believe in myself. And the people who think Tony is good looking and love his abs!”
Whether or not these people will still love Tony's abs following that "Glambo" sketch from Tuesday night's results show is an entirely different story.

She is by far the worst dancer this season. I have seen fish floating upside down on the top of ponds with better moves, and they also have better attitudes.
This is the first season I have ever watched DWTS. I am watching specifically because Kate is a contestant. I will keep voting until the end. I know Kate can not dance and she knows she can not dance as well as some of the others. I vote because I fully support her efforts, guts and determination to provide for her family in the face of incredible obstacles. Plus, I love giving the GWOPPERS and Zlogers something to fume about when they see that not everyone has the same opinion of Kate as they do.
Kelly...it is a dancing competition and people voting for dumb reasons that have nothing to do with the performance are ruining the show. I have loved DWTS and I quit watching 2 weeks ago. She has done nothing to warrant adoration. She is a diva who has no reason to BE a diva.
I hate kate and who care she didn't write that book someone elese did.They have lots of money please go home and be with your kids. Hello why is she thinking about a boyfriend for sex please she never around for the kids and if she has a man she will NEVER be home and the kids don't need that right now. They just need the mother and father around and why goes she get the house and why dose John have to paid her all the money this is a joke
please get kate off the show she can't dance and its fix. The couple should win should be a great dancer. Trust me it fixed they want to win Kate so people will watch her.She has a very bad attitude and all she dose is put her kids on someone elese. They need a lot of love right now and where is Kate dance and looking for a man.
I get that the show needs to keep her around for the publicity, and she needs to stay on long enough to promote her new book, but I still find it insulting to the rest of the cast, and the audience to include her in the show as "a dancer". She is not even close. As for her ET interview, I found it very well rehearsed, which comes off very insincere. I am glad I stopped watching. There are more important people in this world worthy of my time and consideration.
For all you Kate haters get lost will ya? I am getting so tired of hearing your big mouths that it is not funny! Each and everyone of you couldn't do what she is doing in a minute! You all probably have a hard time wiping your butts! LOL How Kate dances or not I give her all of the credit in the world! And I can see much improvement week by week! I love watching her!

Waa..waa..waa....Go home Kate! If your children really are your first priority, GO HOME. Downsize your mansion and land mass. Grow and paint your own fingernails, and get your tan from playing in the yard with your kids! I can see right through you. You wrote a book for your kids and you are selling it to US? For God's sake...just write your kids a letter! I saw your latest book at Goodwill for 99 cents. I am waiting for the price to go down.
