Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin was the target of some barbs on Wednesday from former "Girls Next Door" star Kendra Wilkinson. Why? Kendra apparently thinks that it's wrong for mothers to spend time away from their kids to do a show like "Dancing With the Stars:"
"You know how Kate is on 'Dancing With the Stars?' I just told my publicist today, if I were asked to go on Dancing With the Stars, I don't think I would do it.
"And I would definitely say no to it because I'm that mom...I want to be there every step. I know I'm here [New York] for three days, but I don't want to spend three months away from my baby. I couldn't."
Now, Kendra is taking to her Twitter account to issue an "apology" of sorts to Kate:
"didn't mean to bash Kate just meant to say I hate leaving my baby..lol. Sorry if ppl took it that way"
Kate Gosselin's appearance on "Dancing With the Stars" has brought new life both into her career along with the ABC show. Even though she plans on spending three days a week in Los Angeles, the plan currently for her is to travel back and forth to Pennsylvania to see her children. Jon, meanwhile, will take care of the kids when his ex-wife is away.

Yes, I think, Kendra meant to go after Kate. I think Kendra does not need to apologize to Kate because Kendra wants to be a better Mom than Kate. Kudos to Kendra. Her child will be much better off with her than Kate's kids are with Kate for a Mom. Sherry (from the view) also tweeted yesterday, after the show, that she would not do DWTS for the same reason. She would not want to be away from her son,Jeffery, for that long. Not every woman makes a good Mom.
You don't have to be there at every step to be a good mom.
