It didn't take former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin long to un-extend the famous hair extensions she had done last month as a part of a People Magazine cover story. As Us Magazine carefully points out in a new photo of Kate from Friday night's New York City excursion, the reality TV mom's hair is noticeably shorter than what we saw a couple of weeks ago. Not only that, but Kate herself seems to be in significantly better spirits.
As one of my own readers pointed out over the weekend, the "mystery man" seen with Kate that night appears to be none other than Ted Gibson, who gave Kate the original makeover (and is also a TLC resident thanks to "What Not to Wear"). Therefore, it may be possible to assume that Kate traveled up to New York for a fresh look followed by a bite to eat.

I wish she'd keep it long, I love it long, she looks more like a woman and less like a mother that way.
She's beautiful either way. I just love her, she's an inspiration to me.
I did not like the look of those particular extensions.Long hair would be fine , but soft and wavy. what a waste of time and money.
The endless amount of ugliness she has inside her will always overwhelm any facade she tries on the outside.

She looks horrible in hair cut. Its not the hairstyle that makes the appearance. Kate is just a horrible person inside and out. Nothing could make her look good.
I think Kate looks good either way. She is a very pretty girl and I hope she does get her own program with the kids or without. Jon is getting what he deserves...nothing. She is a real go getter and you can see Jon is lazy and a little stupid. If you people don't like her then why read about her and make the comments?

Jill says she should keep it long, she won't look like a MOM??? Are you kidding me? She IS a mom! She has 8 kids who she should be tending to! She is a media whore and shouldn't get any attention. Shame on her... perhaps you didn't see the shows on how she treated her husband like crap. And she gets in the spotlight because of it? That's wrong. She showed her nasty side one to many times for me!
