Kate Gosselin is getting a talk show

Looks like Kate Gosselin's talk show dreams are becoming a reality.
Reports are flying that Kate will be filming a pilot episode of a new talk show for Telepictures Productions company this Sunday. The show, yet untitled, is being touted as The View for working moms. Apt, given Kate's guest hosting stint on The View this week. Telepictures Productions currently produces the popular talk shows Ellen and The Tyra Banks Show.
And in The View style, the show will be a panel of four women: Kate Gosselin, cooking maiden Paula Deen, Lee Woodruff (wife of former ABC news anchor Bob Woodruff), and former CBS "Early Show" anchor Rene Skyler. Adding Woodruff and Skyler certainly adds a bit more heft and intellectualism to the panel than, say, a Sherri Shepherd and Elizabeth Hasselbeck.
Of course, just because it's being filmed doesn't mean it will be picked up by a network -- syndication dollars are probably spread thin in this economy. But given all the media attention Kate receives, as well as the popularity of Paula Deen amongst housewives, this could be an easier sell than most.
So if the "Kate and Paula Plus 2" show comes to fruition, will you be watching?

Definitely! And I will watch because I like Kate. I could see from the get-go the problems she was having with Jon and her concern for his lack of engagement as well as irresponsible attitude towards their safety.
Definitely NOT! And I will not do anything that Khate could profit from. She is phony, shallow and selfish. There is no way I'd tune in to hear her whine about being a single mother for kids she merely visits.
I agree... I was uncomfortable watching Jon from the very beginning. He seemed to always be bitter and defensive for the smallest things. He never seemed to "honor" his wife. He is unable to grasp "the big picture" of marriage and family. He could learn alot from Paula Dean and her wonderful relationship with her sons. I have been rooting for Kate all along! Go Kate Go! Girl Power!

maybe this will help her end her TLC show and give her kids some much needed privacy as well as still being able to provide for them in the same way that she has beem amd that they are used to.... I will watch if J&K plus 8 is canceled.. For the Kids!
I might watch. I'm still on the fence about Kate. But after watching this week's "Jon and Kate" episode (Movies and a Catch)I actually felt sorry for her. Jon acts like a pompous ass/kid and is no immature it isn't funny. Kate does seem like she wants to take the high road and she does look so alone. Its a damn shame. Jon needs to grow up that's for sure. And he acts like he doesn't want to be in the spotlight. What a crock that is!
Of course, I enjoy her presence on my TV.

I Will record it,anytime you need someone that can tell how our state doesnt help single moms receive child support over a seventeen yr. childs life,I ll even be on the show.Yes Paula Dean is my mentor, i love to cook and hope to have a catering business one day soon,gotta get my son graduated and in college or marines,I still watch and record all the stuff with kate and the kids on it. Yes I will be watching or recording,two jobs doesnt allow me to sit and watch when anything actually comes on,therefore I record everything.
Ugh... I can't stand Paula Deen. How can anyone cook with those crazy long finger nails she sports? But I will watch faithfully to support Kate who is doing the best she can considering that her husband is a selfish, self-centered, immature, lazy loser! Gotta support Kate and those adorable little sextuplets whom I just love!
You could not pay me to watch the show. Kate is such a fake, I can't believe that people do not see straight through her. I have been a single mother raising kids and sure did not get the things that she gets. If I hear her say one more time how her kids deserve all the things they get,I think I will scream. What makes her kids so special that they deserve all those things but other kids don't. Most kids don't have one crooked house and her kids have 4.Think about it people, you feeding into all thier crap is keeping her kids living in the lap of luxury,are yours?
Never! I have seen Paula Deen in person, and she is almost as phony as the Witch of Wernersville. I have much better things to do with my time than listen to the "pearls of wisdom" from these two. Now, if the show were only featuring Rene and Liz---I would most definitely be interested.
Can't wait. I think Kate will do a fantastic job and it sounds like it will be a good show. I really feel for Kate, where are all of these people on blogs coming from telling her what she should do?
No, I won't watch. I love Paula Deen, but I can't stand Kate Gosselin. While Jon's antics are a train wreck, she's the biggest phony I've ever seen. She's a greedy, money grubbing piece of work!!! She makes me sick. Please Paula, reconsider teaming up with this skank!! Please someone tell me this story isn't true.

OMG are you people kidding me? You LOVE Kate? Are you that blind that you cannot see how she has not only manipulated her own family but the public as well? She has played this sympathy card long enough! KATE GO AWAY! She is not only a very selfish person, but a liar as well! If you NEVER miss a Jon and Kate show, how on earth can you still LOVE her? She is taking money from your pockets and selling her children in the process! I call that whoring! It took the attorneys to ORDER HER TO show where she had hid $80,000! Oh, and all of a sudden it appears in 8 little trust funds! (that apparently NEVER existed before the order) My My My, Kate what a tangle web you have woven! I hope the court orders someone to over see JUST EXACTLY where all that money that the KIDS have earned is going to! 10 yrs from now all those kids will be taking her to court for the millions she stole from them!!! As to her new show? Will I watch it? NOOOOOOOOO WAYYYYYYYY! I will NOT support her!
Kate is not a good mom. A good mother is one that makes sacrifices for her children and her family. this women has not made One sacrifice for her children. Everything was given to her free from the beginning and the worst part is she expected it, and wouldnt take anything but the best. Give me a break. This women is an insult to all the hard working (married and single moms)at there who juggle work, home, and children. She does not juggle anything. It is done for her. With all the pressure of divorce she should have been the first one to step in and say, I will not do the show so I can take care of my Kids. No she said from the beginning The show must go on
Please proofread before publishing! I believe you mean to refer to Paula Deen as a "cooking maven", not " cooking maiden". She hasn't been a maiden for a while, as she has two grown sons.
I love Kate! She has been nothing but honest about why she does the show...the money is great!
My husband lost his job and we lost it all... house, car, 401k, etc... , so I would do what Kate and Jon did! They were broke and needed money. TLC has provided them with opportunities they wouldn't have if it was not for that show and I will watch Mom Logic! Go Paula and Kate!!!! They could even have a cooking show "What Paula and Kate Ate"!!!!
And for all the people that hate Kate...thats totally your right to have an opinion. But we don't know or see what goes on behind closed doors. Jon may have always been a jerk and a slacker. She may have just seen a chance for her family to make some money and ran with it. She probably always knew Jon was lazy and was just trying to make sure her kids had a future! We shouldn't really put her down as we all don't know the whole story!
