Kate Gosselin and Kathy Griffin appear together on 'The View'

Kate Gosselin once again appeared on The View today (along with the wavy hairdo), and to help spice things up, Kathy Griffin appeared as a guest.
What's the big deal with Kate meeting Kathy? Well, Griffin has used the Gosselins for comedic material. First in June, when she said in an interview that she had slept with Jon Gosselin (a joke she reused recently at an awards dinner), and made a video spoof of Kate for Jimmy Kimmel Live! which didn't exactly put Kate in a flattering light, to put it mildly.
But before the Kate vs. Kathy showdown, Kate had a few things to say about the recent In Touch Santoro magazine interview with Stephanie, who says she had sex with Jon Gosselin. What was telling was that Kate seemed to take the story at face value, saying that she's "not surprised" to hear it. This, of course, led to the topic of the incident where Jon called the police because Kate showed up at their house expressing her displeasure over Santoro watching her children. Kate -- shockingly -- admitted she was wrong going over there on Jon's custody day, and Whoopi Goldberg proceeded to dress her down a bit for it. Not surprisingly, Sherri Shepherd was on Kate's side.
So enough about that, what happened when Kate finally met Kathy? Did the claws come out? Uh, no. Turns out Kate appears to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Well, that was anti-climactic. The only noteworthy part was Kate said the rumor of her being offered a Playboy spread was completely false.
Well now that Kate's stint on The View is over, guess we'll "eagerly" await the debut of the Kate Gosselin and Paula Deen talk show coming... whenever.

Why didn't someone on the View ask Miss Kate why she continues to be gone so much. Both she and Jon seem to gravitate to NYC.
The kids have now lost their dogs who were a great source of comfort to them. And now it looks as though either parent will do anything to spend time away from the kids. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Kate talks about earning a living- but what lifestyle is she wanting for her kids... and NOT HER! This crap about her having her own talk show- where in the heck would that be filmed???
Neither parent has any clue as to what they are doing to their children. This team Kate and team Jon mucky stuff has got to stop. What about TEAM KIDS???
Jon has certainly cooked his goose. Kate is more sneaky and can get away with a lot more. The fact that the show did not come off the air speaks volumes about both parents and TLC.
Hopefully the kids have a wonderful counselor to help guide them with their wacko parents.
PS- All of you Kate lovers, what in the heck are you thinking?
That woman is NOT at home with her kids and when she is, there's a nanny taking care of them. We only see her smiling face when she's on camera. Boy are all of you getting taken for a ride!
Can any of you honestly say that she did the lion's share of taking care of those great kids??? NO!!! She was away how many days of the month???
MARGRET while yes kate was not at home for 2 days to film the view because of the custody arrangement even if she was in the same town as her kids she wouldn't be allowed to be home because it would be jon's time with the kids! so give it a break all you kate haters! Kate is a great mother no matter what people say. GO TEAM KATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey geniuses, they couldn't ask why Kate wasn't home all the time because they do the exact same thing. That's right. Just like every other mother in hollywood. You guys are so jealous of Kate it's not funny. But then it kinda is. lol
FINALLY, someone had the good sense to see through that miserable bitch Kate Gosselin and call her out! The look on Kate's face was priceless. If Sheri would have shut up, I think Whoopie would have wiped the floor with that amazon. HOORAY WHOOPIE!!

If you think she is a good mother with the way she uses THREATS AND BRIBES all the time with the kids, I am wondering what kind of parents your are.
She said terrible threatening things to the children all the time. Scared the hell out of them probably. Think of how little minds interpret her threats.
And as for her "promises" as she constantly states, what happened when she "promised" the kids in Hawaii that daddy and mommy would be together forever.
Seems she should stop making "promises" she can't keep and stop using the word "promise" like it really means something to her.

Woopi is great. The only one will some balls. She has earned her status in life. Kate is just acting like a prima donna because she had 8 kids and crastrated her idiot husband on TV and threw everyone else under the bus after she used them up and spit them out. She burned all her bridges.

Who the hell told Sherri she should show herself off in a swim suit. She looked disgusting, fat and sloppy. The suit was two sizes too small, like that was going to make her look thin.

jon and kate both loser parents he is spineless and she is self absorbed. people should quit watching them and pay attention to their own kids and if you dont have kids. then find something useful to do
