Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin may be out of the public spotlight in comparison to his "Dancing With the Stars" wife, but the reality TV dad is nonetheless maintaining a strong presence with some people who matter to him the most: his children.
According to a new story from E! Online, the Gosselin kids hold Jon up in the highest regard even in spite of his tabloid headlines and past controversy: "They talk about their dad all the time...They love him."
The validity of this quote was evident upon Jon's last visit, as he was seen embracing one of his daughters while a number of the other kids played around him. The children have more the most part lived in a bubble away from most of the negative headlines -- though they possibly still hear damaging things from their classmates at school.

All of these children need his love and I hope he will always be available. I was a daddy's girl. After my parents divorce, he was always a good father. I did not have much rapor with his second wife. He was not a good husband but he was very close to my brother. I am only nine years younger than second wife. He was always available to me.
When the show was on, I always thought that Jon was a great father and Kate was a real b******. With all the news about "how great she is", I still think she is not a GOOD MOTHER and she has tried everything to hurt Jon. I hope that the DWTS will put her in her place (way down) and that Jon will get to see his kids more and more and eventually get custody of them, so Ms Kate will need to pay the child support that is needed from the cash she has stashed away from way back when. Go, Jon, go - don't give up hope and love your children as you always have.
Yes, I am happy that the children love their father. It is evident that he loves them, too. He plays with them, hugs and kisses them. His face lights up when he sees them. Please remember that Jon was the stay at home parent for these children for 2 yrs. before everything blew up. I do not believe that he would have ever left them or even Kate on his own. Kate ended the marriage and Jon had trouble dealing with that.
But, yes, I am happy that the kids have an affectionate and loving parent.

Jon is mostly a good father. He took a "vacation" from responsibility and parenting, looking primarily after his own wants and needs. This is not lost on the children. I am sure they are thrilled to have their "real" dad back. Kate is not perfect but she was there for them or working to bring in income. Reality stardom doesn't last forever and for a while, Jon and Kate were on the same team to make the best of the time they had.
Yeah its great if Jon has been around to see his kids, but I also read that he hasn't been seen with his children since Feb. 28, hhmmm whats wrong with this pic??? Where is Jon, does anybody really know?
Of course they love him. He would let them run wild. He was too busy with a cigarette in one hand and cell phone in the other, even while waving and smiling at anything in a skirt. The only time he was angry with them is when the twins told about his girl friends. I love my father too, but he was a poor husband to my mother and his second wife.
