In a recent interview outside a Wernersville, Pennsylvania UPS store, Jon Gosselin spoke out regarding the claims Kevin and Jodi Kreider made on CBS “The Early Show” about the Gosselin children being overworked. Jon stated, they are "ridiculous," especially coming from someone who hasn't been around the family for months.
Jon then stated regarding the film schedule of the children, "It's like a family environment. That's how we work together. It's comfortable for the kids to film. That way there's no animosity."…"My kids probably film an hour and a half to two hours a day. And we only film an average of 3 days a week.”
Jon also stated that he hasn't spoken to Jodi's husband, Kevin, since January and wasn't exceptionally close with him even when the families were on better terms.
“Our number one priority for Kate and I is our kids."...“They don’t even know where we live," he also stated of Jodi and Kevin.
"Please people, stop interfering in our lives. We know what's best." Jon stated as a plea to the camera man.

The children are NOT being exploited!!
The Kreider's are looking for publicity and monetary gain.
I agree 100% the Kreiders' are vultures looking to get free money.
These children seem happy and well adjusted. The are obviously not being exploited!
Jon Gosselin is as thick as plank. The point isn't how much time the kids spend filming. The point is that their entire childhoods have been offered up as entertainment to the ENTIRE WORLD. By televising their kids personal lives EVERY WEEK, they've offered them up to every stalker, looney-tune and paparazzi in the free world in exchange for money. These parents have NO jobs. The only money they earn is from selling their kids images. It's exploitation plain and simple. And it's sick. TLC really needs to think about what they're doing here. Who knows, maybe one day the Gosselin kids will come back and file a lawsuit against TLC for exploiting them. I wouldn't blame them one bit.

The children are indeed being exploited. To think otherwise is simply naïve.
I remember Aunt Jodi's kids being on the show, were they being exploited also, I think Jon and Kate know what they are doing and Jodi and Kevin should stay out of their business, how can your own brother do that to you, I just feel really bad for the kids they did nothing to deserve this at all!
Totally agree with Lily! The Kreiders didn't seem to have a problem when the cameras were filming the Gosselin children in the Kreiders home. They are looking for the bucks. And to top it all off, the Kreiders have even said they have not been around the Gosselin children for over a year and a half. money grubbing family members should shut their traps!
Jon and Kate should walk away from the whole TLC thing and focus on their children. Money isn't everything. Numerous people have large numbers of children and do not exploit their children or expect monetary handouts for financial gain. They make it work. In todays typical non Hollywood USA world, a majority of mothers and fathers go without basic needs for themselves to provide for their children. They do NOT have tummy tucks and hair implants, teeth whitening, numerous vacations to places that even a double income two child home can't even afford. Jon and Kate have forgotten that love was why you have children not for money and publicity. In the end it will be your children who will pay the ultimate price for the life you chose not them.
Hate to say it but Jon used Jodi and Kevin back in May to get back at Kate now he is backstabbing them. I have lost all respect for him, I used to think he was the sane parent of the two.
Unfortunately many fans once thought Jon cared about the effect of overexposure on his children and that he would try to stop the show. But now we see that his little tantrum of late was due to his jealousy of his (fame and fortune) addicted wife Kate and her'career'.
Jon wants the attention and the 'career' Kate has and not only won't stop the show for the sake of the kids, he is making it worse by pursuing (ugly clothing)modeling jobs for the kids and yet ANOTHER TV reality show based on him as a single dad.
Jodi and Kevin are the only voices of reason for the children in this huge mess.
I believe Jon and Kate are the parents and they love their children and everyone should give them a break. Unless you are there everyday than you really dont know what is going. I think it is very clear the love they have for their children and everyone should trust in their judgement as their parents. I dont see them trying to tell any of us how to raise our children. Looks like this aunt and unlce are ruffling feathers and should be trying to talk to Kate and not the media if they are that concerned. How can you go above your sister like that, looks like aunt and uncle missed being filmed and found a way on tv after all....very very sad. Best of luck to Jon and Kate the love you have for your children in very evident.
I feel strongly that Kevin and Jodi should butt the heck out of the Gosselins' life. I think it's appalling that they insist on making these public appearances trashing Jon and Kate.
I think that people set themselves up for certain things. If Jon didn't do what he did they wouldn't be in the spotlight. I think its more of an interest to the papparazzi on what Jon and Kate are doing.. the kids just happen to be in the middle. Unfortunately thats the way it happens. Jon and Kate both need to look at the situation they have put their family in. They need to make it work even if it means canceling the show. Thats whats best for the kids. And the episode sucked last night without Jon in it. It just wasn't the same.
I think that the Kreider's were PAID for this interview. Look who's benefitting from these kids, now! What a load a crap.
