Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin may have figured out a way to strike gold without doing very much work. According to a new story by Fox411, the reality TV dad could pull in a decent income on his ex-wife's new TLC show -- even if he never makes an appearance. Why? It has simply to do with him signing off on his children. They would be filmed, and for every episode they appear he could receive some cash considerations.
A source close to the reality TV dad expressed that this move is potentially putting Gosselin in a far more relaxed state:
"Jon is feeling very relieved right now. He didn’t have anywhere near the money that TLC could have demanded for his breach of contract, so their negotiations worked out for him."
While we do not know how much these considerations could be, it might be enough to keep Jon afloat with his child support payments. He also has to worry about some hefty legal bills, but this news (in addition to the TLC settlement) puts him in a far better situation than he's been in the past few months.
The only drawback for Jon? Sources have claimed that Kate's new show will feature the children in a more reduced role than "Jon and Kate Plus 8."
