Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin is finally seeing some movement in his December burglary case -- though it may not be the sort of movement he was exactly looking for. Radar Online is reporting that the District Attorney's office in New York will soon question the reality TV dad about some of items supposedly "ransacked" from his apartment, along with a note supposedly left at the scene by former girlfriend Hailey Glassman.
Initial statements from the NYPD seemed to lean towards labeling the entire incident a "publicity stunt," and a new statement by a police source seems to echo those sentiments. Not only that but they also hint at some problems for Jon if he doesn't comply with any police requests:
“The more they’ve looked into it, the more they’ve felt like it was a publicity stunt on Jon’s part...While this hasn’t been the detectives’ top priority, Gosselin could get the collar for filing a false report.
“Now, the open investigation that’s continued has resulted in the D.A.’s office deciding that Jon Gosselin must come in and appear in person to be questioned...if he refuses to voluntarily show, they could make it difficult for him and issue a subpoena – basically, forcing him to appear."
If Jon is telling the truth about the December break-in, then he will surely have nothing to worry about. On the other hand, if this whole scheme was a "publicity stunt" it will only add to the legal woes facing the reality star. He already faces heavy costs for his TLC court battle and must also make child support payments for his eight children.

Yeah, he is innocent as his new girlfriend was with him when they went over to his apt together.

You cannot automatically just say he is guilty. True, he is not perfect, but that does not mean he created a false burglary. He was a victim when he was married to Kate. She was terrible to him. I do not blame him for leaving. She caused the divorce. She became all about herself and no one else. She is fake and is all about making money and being famous.
It is so obvious he lied, again, and staged the whole thing. He is a chronic pathological liar and manipulator. He is also very vindictive and evil. He drove Kate to be the way she was as he was a lazy bum from the get-go. Kate may have her own issues, as we all do, but I would not wish this guy on my wrost enemy. Glad Hailey wised up. This new girl must not be too smart or she would not hook up with him, even for a few minutes of spotlight fame.
If the DA is bringing him in -there is strong indication or evidence that the break-in was a scam. If Hailey had done it--they would have booked her into jail by now. The fact that they are bringing Jon in and not Hailey seems to indicate that they know who the rat is----Jon

It was Jon's visitation time. He is responsible to spend SOME time with the kids, and that gives Kate SOME time for herself. Better to be getting a hair-do then the kind of "DO" that Jon is getting during his time away from the kids!
