Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" stars Jon and Kate Gosselin have kept a relatively low profile over the course of the past few months, but all of that could be changing soon whether they want it to or not. Why is that? Thanks to a recent interview by Jon's former girlfriend Hailey Glassman, everyone and anyone seems to be getting into the game of insulting Jon's manhood.
While his famous ex-wife has not officially joined the party, some comments are being attributed to her name. The most significant story comes courtesy of Us Magazine, who cites a source when claiming that Kate had a rather clever nickname for Jon: "Stubby." It's just about as kind as it sounds.
Of course, there's one major problem with this story: it may very well not be true. It's very difficult to know whether or not those words actually came out of Kate's mouth, especially when you consider how many "rumors" about the couple were started last year.
If this "nickname" does turn out to be true, the only thing it really proves is that Jon actually was "abused" in some form during the couple's ten-year marriage. The reality TV dad famously made the claim during an interview with ABC's Chris Cuomo, and he was criticized for it afterwards by many parties.

Anyone who had seen the show knows he was verbally abused.
Kate will do ANYTHING to keep her name in the spotlight. Even discussing the size of her ex's "stub"! It just goes to show you how classless Kate really is!
Oh right. He was abused verbally. Get a grip. She joked with him alot but did you not ever watch him roll his eyes and shake his head at her. Same difference. Big deal.
And...she obviously liked "Stubby" or she wouldn't have stayed with him. She could have made it on her own and you know it. Besides, friends tell stuff like that to other friends. What's the big deal? At least she isn't blasting it all over the media. Please, give her some credit.

Who is the "source" that claims Kate supposedly was referring to his "stub"? Perhaps she called him stubby because he is almost as wide as he is tall. Good grief!
Come on people. A nickname like stubby could mean just about anything!! Has anyone seen a picture of this guy! Added to that s the fact that this cannot be definitely ascribed to her. It sounds more like someone is trying to get their 15 minutes of fame by trying to create a situation. When does the public get over their jealousy, what we in Australia call "tall poppy syndrome" and leave these people to get on with their lives. As a mother of multiples I wish Kate the very best and wish Jon would grow up and start acting like a man his kids will one day be proud of.
