'Jon and Kate Plus 8:' is Jon Gosselin waving Twitter goodbye?

Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Jon Gosselin hasn't just gravitated away from making TV appearances for cash; he's also practically abandoned his primary sort of communication with his fans. The reality TV dad has not posted on his Twitter page since early November, and we have yet to hear any public statement directly from him about either the TLC breach of contract lawsuit or his new relationship with Morgan Christie.

Is it possible that Jon's lack of communication is due to a court order? We have to believe so, since prior to the TLC case Jon was at least tweeting a couple of times a month. He may not have so many fans thanks to the multiple "scandals" attached to his name, but there are still 75,000+ people following him on the popular social-networking site.

As it was recently confirmed that Jon will likely not be a part of any future TLC project, we also have to assume that this silence will continue for a little while longer. Any statement he makes for the time being could either hurt his credibility or his pocket book.

Do you think Jon is staying silent by choice, or is his lack of tweeting being forced upon him by an external force? Let me know your thoughts with a comment and stay tuned for more "Jon and Kate" news.
