Does this look like a couple getting divorced?
A source is saying that they know the big Jon and Kate announcement this Monday is that the Gosselins are getting a divorce.
Sources told Radaronline.com that Kate has been meeting with a divorce lawyer, and that Jon and Kate had already had an arrangement to separate by July 15 (what, is that the last day of filming?). Radaronline.com says they have "learned exclusively that the marriage is over and Jon will file divorce papers next week."
Of course, we all know how reliable anonymous sources are -- who knows, maybe it's even an intern from TLC trying to spark more interest in Monday's Jon and Kate Plus 8 episode.
Theories and jokes have been flying about the "huge announcement", ranging from said divorce to simply a separation, something as innocuous as a trip to Korea to "find themselves", Kate being pregnant, and my favorite, that Kate's adopting Octomom's babies.
Guess we'll all find out Monday night when we watch. Well, I will at least, and will post a recap for those of you who can't bear to give Jon and Kate any more viewers.

They will be getting a divorce. Jon is young and feels he has missed out on his youth (maybe Kate, too)and her riding his ass did not help...Hopefully, she realizes her contribution. (even though the right thing for them to do would have been to bang it out together but that's not how it usually happens) They have been all to "human" for the whole world to see. I can't even imagine how the stress of caring and loving eight children adds to the picture. The LUXURY of taking care of "plus eight" is now a FAMILY CURSE.
Kate has her faults and is getting slammed about them. But what about Jon? Aside from his cheating, doesn't anybody wonder about his work history? His work history has been really spotty. Why hasn't he gotten a job? He is immature and has never been a focused person. If he felt so stifled by the show, why didn't he go out and get a job? When they had the sextuplets, he was out of work, having been fired for lousy performance. This show saved them financially. Why criticze Kate for being so gung ho about this show? How else would they be able to support their family? Every parent wants the best for their children; providing for the future of the 8 kids is no joke. As a provider, Jon hasn't stepped up to the plate. So what if Kate enjoys making public appearances? She is doing what she can to secure her children's futures. Kate has to have balls because Jon doesn't have any.

I think that Jon and Kate have no excuse. They should try and work on the marriage for the sake of the kids. I think they BOTH have major issues--not just Kate. It is NOT OK to cheat on your wife... no matter what she has done. Sit down, talk to her... maybe he did, IDK. Just seems they are not trying out of subborness or this is all for ratings. Guess it is working!
All in all, its probably a divorce. When your wife throws you out of the house, for her boyfriend to move, there is something radically wrong here. But, the question is, wether or not they continue the show, has TLC canceled it? They still have a season to finish.
Forgot to say that Kates " boyfriend " is Steve Neild, and they have been living to gether since before she kicked Jon out. Thats probably why you haven't seen him.
it frees her up to come out in the open with Steve.After all this is finished, you'll hear that her and him are engaged.
Thank goodness Jon will finally be free from the witch, and it's so much better for the kids; they deserve to live a normal life.
This is very tragic. These are two adult people with the ability to work things out.
They have EIGHT children. Those children, who are very young, will now have the "joy" of dividing their time and loyalties between two parents.
Jon and Kate, if they do divorce, will be doing so for purely selfish reasons. Neither one seems willing to compromise and/or make the necessary changes in order to have a loving, healthy marriage, one that will benefit their children. Instead they choose divorce. It's truly very sad.
kate is a money grubber and u can tell she is a nasty ~ i mean you can only boss and walk all over people for so long before they thumb there nose at you ~ look how she treats everyone around her, kids, family, husband she is a WITCH ~ i think tlc should do those kids a favor and cancel that show.I mean what kind of reality show is it now they live like little pashas and get everything for free...I have to read what happens online since i refuse to contribute to the ratings:)
Think about it though she is eight kids and is raising them on her own nobody knows how that feels. She may not be perfect neither are we. We are only human. Normal families are divorce all the time and nobody makes a big deal out of that.
They've been trying to work it out can't you see. What is the point of trying so hard to work it out. When if they truly hate eachother that won't show the kids anything good. What would you think about love when you parents are not happy in there realtion ships. Wouldn't you think if you fall in love you would get hurt in the end. They are trying for the sake of there kids. When you don't love your partner do you stay with them or do you break up. There is so much stress added to their marraige and even small families are getting divorced so what the big deal. if it is not meant to be there is nothing we can do to change anything.
Jeffrey you seem fixated with the boyfriend, Steve...enough already...in order to know how EVERYTHING came about you would have to be a fly on the wall...for all we know Jon could have been dealing with "issues" long before it hit the airwaves, ok??? Let's do an article on his punk ass rebellousness...he's soooooooooo cool it's "sic".........smoking, cussing, hanging out with other chicks and that tough bike ridin facade...damn. he's acting like a 7 yr.itch and midlife crisis all rolled up into one! Jon we get it...you are good at sports...enough already...they have both acted stupid along the way...Kate's biggest fault is that mouth...but I think there's PLENTY about Jon's struggles that she chooses not to share with the world...she has more control (so far) over her tongue than many realize. Yes, THE KIDS ARE GOING TO GOOGLE JON ONE DAY and they WILL NOT like what THEIR DAD chose... a life without them and their mother.
I think the reason for the divorce is Jon's wandering eye. He married and had kids too young and now he wants to go back and be twenty again without being married and with no kids. I don't think he ever truely loved Kate, maybe was infatuated with her and knew her being a nurse would always have a nice income so he wouldn't have to worry about that.(been there, done that) He was tired of having to take care of the kids by himself when she was out of town working. I think he wanted to be free of all responsibility to do whatever he wanted with whomever he wanted. Well he'll be able to do that pretty soon. I hope the judge comes down on him hard financially and he is forced to get another job. I hope he doesn't get royalities from Kate's books as she is the one that wrote them even though his name is on the cover also. I hope he realizes what a little boy he was when he was supposed to be the man of the house and no wonder Kate talked to him the way she did, maybe he'll see what he lost!
