It’s Halloween weekend and while there are many places having themed parties, there are still quite a few non-holiday live music shows by top area bands ready to rock your socks this weekend!
Friday “One Thousand Faces” will be battering the stage at Bada Brew (802 N Theodore St in Crest Hill) along with special gust “Breadline”, “Brendan Irons Complex Project” and “Hillbilly Rickshaw” firing up at 8PM. There is a cover charge of $5 and the doors open at 7PM.
A Chicago Rocker Party featuring the triple threat bill of “Hooked On Sonics”, “Miss Behavin’” and “Cougar” will be rocking Total Sports (523 Fairway Dr in Naperville) beginning at 10:30PM.
“Drunken Skunk” will be tearing up the stage at Tailgater’s 431 W Boughton Rd in Bolingbrook at 8PM. No cover charge.
“American Tramp” will be tearing up the stage at Heroes West 1530 Commerce Dr in Joliet with a start time of 8PM. The band performs female fronted classic rock and this show is their first one at Heroes.
Also Friday the ever-popular “Libido Funk Circus” returns to Stage 151 at Harrah’s Casino (151 N Joliet St in Joliet) with a show time of 9PM. For you LFC fans it’s going to be a purple show.
Skinnys (109 E Mondamin St in Minooka) heralds the arrival of Neil Young tribute band ”Heart Of Gold” for one night starting up at 9PM.
“Maggie Speaks” will be onstage at Sam Maguire’s 39 Orland Square Drive in Orland Park at 10PM.
The Lodge at Four Lakes (5750 Lakeside Dr in Lisle) welcomes “7th Heaven” with a start time of 10PM.
It’s a three-band bill at Bobby McGee’s 1200 Cedarwood Dr in Crest Hill Friday with “Brown Bag Special”, “Etlin Zylin” and “Where The Hat Fell”. There is a $5 cover, $3 you-call-its and the show gets going at 9PM.
Saturday “Dirty Ernie” opens an evening of classic rock at Total Sports 523 Fairway in Naperville starting at 9PM. Headlining will be “Reckless” taking the stage at 11PM.
Singer/songwriter Ashleigh Ashton will be live at Chicago Dough Company 1080 E Lincoln Hwy in New Lenox at 7PM. Ashleigh will be performing a mix of acoustic originals and cover tunes.
Hollywood Casino (7777 Hollywood Blvd. In Joliet) features the music of “Forget Hannah” getting underway at 9PM.
“The Dub Currents” is bringing their unique show to Paulie’s Pub 2006 W Jefferson St in Joliet starting at 9:30PM. DC is a 2 man-looping band that plays several instruments and uses no backing tracks.
Sunday of course is the always-popular “Joliet Heritage Blues Jam” swinging at Kegler’s Sports Bar & Grill (905 Theodore St in Cresthill) at 6PM. If you love playing the blues or just want to chill back and listen, the JHBJ is the place to be on a Sunday night. The staff is ready to serve you and the kitchen stays open until 10PM.
