Jolie and Pitt married according to spokesman

Minutes ago, a spokesman for celebrity super couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were married this past Saturday in France. No further details were announced. This Hollywood super couple known as Brangelina, have been together as a couple since 2005 after release of the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith was released that the two starred in.

According to an interview with People Magazine, Jolie admitted that “They didn't start thinking about a relationship right away, and that "It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe.” Pitt and his former wife Jennifer Anniston separated in January of 2005, when it became obvious that Pitt and Jolie were involved. Since 2005, Jolie and Pitt have become the parents of Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, 8, Shiloh, 7, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Vivienne made her film debut earlier this year with her mom Jolie in Maleficent.

Pitt and Jolie have said continually that the couple wouldn’t marry until all citizens could marry equally in the United States and only became engaged in 2012. Since then Jolie announced that knowing she had the gene for breast cancer she had a preventative mastectomy in October of 2013. Jolie tested positive for the BRCA gene mutation which causes breast cancer. Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer after an 8 year battle in January of 2007. Jolie in April 2012 was appointed as Special Envoy of UN High Commissioner for Refugees António Guterres.
