‘Joker Joe’ Biden: Back in action on way to China

During political campaigns it is hard to stop Joe Biden from talking too much. Yet, now that President Obama has wounded himself by a shot of Obamacare, senior statesman Biden is undertaking more relevance.

He may even be a backup to Hillary Clinton in the event that she doesn’t run. He already announced his desire to stick around.

“Joker Joe” will become “Jolt’n Joe” as he is expected to play bad cop in disavowing China’s newly declared assertion of expanded ownership of remote islands. China is requiring aircraft to file flight plans and to communicate with their air traffic control while flying in the disputed territory.

This analyst suspects that China can see all of the aircraft coming their way that include airliners and B52s. What they may not see are B2 stealth bombers. They might like the aircraft without signatures to announce their presence. That isn’t going to happen.

“Biden goes on mission to China

By Julian Pecquet

Vice President Biden has been thrust into the center of an escalating standoff with China that is testing him on the global stage ahead of a possible presidential run in 2016.

President Obama dispatched Biden to Asia, where he will deliver a strong warning to China for declaring an air defense zone over islands that are also claimed by U.S. ally Japan.

“This is an opportunity for Vice President Biden to raise our concerns directly with policymakers in Beijing and to seek clarity regarding the Chinese intentions in making this move at this time,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said Monday. “We do not accept the legitimacy of China’s requirements.””
