In an attempt to break the world record for the largest speed-dating event, the D Las Vegas is hosting the D Date-a-Thon on Feb. 14. It will take place on the Fremont Street Experience in front of the D Bar from 6 – 9 p.m.

During the event, each participant will date 24 potential sweethearts, three minutes per person, in hopes of finding a Valentine’s Day date. There will be $1 drinks, music and the opportunity to win a staycation at The D.

The Date-a-Thon is free. All participants must register. Singles can sign up ahead of time at vegasspeeddate.com or theD.com. On-site registration will open the day of the speed-dating experience at 4 p.m. All young lovers must be 21 years or older.

The D is located on historic Fremont Street at the eastern end of the Fremont Experience. Previously the Fitzgerald, it is home to the Longbar, the longest bar in Nevada, a stone from Blarney’s Castle in Ireland that you can kiss for good fortune before your date-a-thon, and one of the best shows in town, The Scintas.
