Celebrate 25 years with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy!
The PVPLC is offering a Guided Nature Walk to Eagle’s Nest on Saturday, March 9, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Journey down Burma Road in the Portuguese Bend Reserve and take in the sweeping views from Eagle’s Nest that inspired Bill Ailor to found the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy in 1988.
Observe habitat restoration in action as dedicated volunteers plant native shrubs grown in the Conservancy’s nursery.
This moderate walk is free and open to the public.
Parking is available along the street at the south end of Crenshaw Boulevard near Del Cerro Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The Conservancy’s vision is the creation and management of large blocks of natural, open space where visitors may enjoy peaceful solitude, where children and adults can learn about the natural environment and where native plants and animals can thrive. They preserve undeveloped land as open space for historical, educational, ecological, recreational and scenic purposes.
