Join the Great Northwest Glass Quest for free family fun

What could be more fun than spending time with family and friends on a treasure search? This weekend, you can do just that at the fourth annual Great Northwest Glass Quest throughout Camano Island and Stanwood.

Through Feb. 24 there will be plastic clue balls hidden in the two cities community sites, local businesses, parks and the beach. Each of the clue balls can be redeemed at the location identified inside the ball. The prizes are limited editions, signed glass balls blown by Stanwood glass artist Mark Ellinger.

Everyone is invited to pick up the 2013 Glass Quest treasure hunt guide and join in on this free, fun event. The guides can be picked up in Stanwood at the Chamber of Commerce or the Guilded Gallery & Snow Goose Bookstore. Or, on the Island at the information office, Windermere Realtor or at the Camano Island Coffee Roasters.

The guide provides tips to where the clue balls are hidden. Take your Glass Quest guide with you as you search and have the participating businesses stamp it. When you have gotten five stamps, you can enter it for a second chance glass ball drawing to be held in. March 2013.
