What: Join team purple also known as Baltimore Ravens fans for the 17th annual MSP Polar Bear Plunge. PlungeFest 2013 is a day full of fun and activities, which will entertain everyone in your family. Both participants and spectators can thaw out in the heated festival tents, that will include food vendors, crafters, live music by The Amish Outlaws, The Rovers, a kids zone and official Plunge merchandise. Did you know? The Rams Head Ice Lodge/Beer Garden returns to PlungeFest in 2013. The tent opens at 8:00 a.m. (there is no charge for admission to the Rams Head Ice Lodge/Beer Garden, including all of the entertainment) and they will be serving up great drinks and great music beginning with Maryland’s own Ryful, and followed by an Eastern shore favorite band, Hot Tub Limo. This is all in addition to the main stage action surrounding the Plunge, which includes a costume contest before each Plunge time. Check out a tentative schedule whereas, registration starts at 8 a.m. with two plunge times; 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for everyone who is interested in plunging for the cause.

Who: The event is free for spectators or a $50 minimum donation allows each member to plunge into the chilly Bay water.
