Lopster's Kids' Club
HEY KIDS,
Lopster was a homeless dog at the Humane Society of Broward County until one day a human fell in love with him and took him home! Have you always wanted to help the homeless animals but weren't old enough to volunteer? Now is your big opportunity to join Lopster's Kids' Club!
WHO?
Lopster wants two clubs and Lopster gets what he wants!
Little Pups - humans from 6 - 9 years old
Big Dogs - humans from 10 - 13 years old
WHEN?
Lopster's Club will meet once a month after school. He will send you a Lopster Letter to let you know what time. He is very talented.
WHAT?
Meetings will last an hour to an hour and a half. Each meeting will include a lesson in animal kindness and hands-on interaction with animals.
WHERE?
All of the meetings will begin on the 2nd floor of the Humane Soceity of Broward County, 2070 Griffin Road in Ft. Lauderdale, 33312.
WHAT ELSE?
To join Lopster's Kids' Club there is a $25.00 annual enrollment fee. You will receive a Kids' Club T-shirt, Lopster letters, posters and the Pet Press newspaper. Each club will participate in fundraising activities to help the homeless animals.
Every year you join the Pet Club and participate in the activities, you earn completion patches to put on your own Humane Society Cap! If you graduate from Lopster's Kids' Club, after four years, your name will go on Lopster's Wall of Fame! Check it out! No worries for our older kids, because you can continue on and join our Teen Club to earn your patches.
