Philadelphia, PA –This Sunday join in for the Super Bowl Party at South Philly Bar & Grill to benefit the American Heart Association (AHA).
South Philly Bar & Grill, voted Philly’s best sports bar by PHL 17 four years in a row, teams up with Female Football Frenzy™ (F3) for a heart healthy Super Bowl Party on February 3rd starting at 6 p.m.(pre-game 5:30!) that benefits the American Heart Association (AHA)—the Philadelphia affiliate of the National Heart Association—hosted by Tashyra Ayers, Philadelphia radio personality and F3 founder.
Tickets are priced in two tiers; ticket holders can choose between being a First Down Donor or a Touch Down Donor:
- First Down Donors purchase $10 tickets and receive a pin and one raffle ticket.
- Touch Down Donors purchase $25 tickets and receive a T-shirt, a pin, and a bundle of raffle tickets. Ticket sales, donations, and proceeds benefit the AHA.
To show support and help build awareness, South Philly Bar & Grill will serve heart-healthy dishes. AHA Approved appetizers include:
Chop Block Crudités with fat-free Ranch
Lateral Lettuce Wraps with Cashew Chicken Stir-fry.
Healthy entrées include:
Red Zone Roasted Vegetable Wrap and Extra Point Pasta Primavera made with roasted vegetables and whole-wheat pasta.
South Philly Bar & Grill offers a Fourth Down Fruit and Yogurt Parfait for dessert.
An assortment of Skinny Girl Cocktails and Special Super Bowl Sunday beverages will be available from behind the bar all night. $2 from each Skinny Girl Cocktail and Heart Healthy food item purchased during the F3 event will benefit the AHA. In addition to these specials, South Philly Bar & Grill will offer $3 Yuengling Lager and Yuengling Light Drafts.
The 2013 F3 event not only addresses the importance of maintaining a healthy heart, but also offers a social atmosphere for guests to network, all while enjoying the big game at the city’s premier sports bar.
South Philly Bar & Grill and F3 will raffle off autographed sports memorabilia and other great prizes. Additionally Philadelphia sports guru Art Clear, F3 donor and host of the Artie Clear Show on WiFi 1460 AM, will make a guest appearance during the event.
There will be guest appearances by Kharisma McIlwaine—CBS3 and CW Philly host and fashionista, Kyafa Vick—Michael Vick’s wife, State Representative Jordan Harris, Councilman Kenyatta Johnson, and more.
The pre-game starts at 5:30 pm where guests will get to meet the host of the Tashyra Ayers show. During half-time there will be a special AHA presentation.

Tashyra Ayers is the winner of 900 AM WURD's Radio Idol (2010) and is the host of her own infotainment media show, Evenings With Tashyra. Tashyra is known for her philanthropic organization, Female Football Frenzy (F3), which benefits various health organizations in the Philadelphia area including the American Heart Association.
