Welcome to the last weekend of winter. By the time next weekend gets here, it will officially be spring. But there is still some good snow at the local resorts. So get out and take advantage of some great spring-like snow sports conditions while you still can. While the resorts will keep the slopes open as long as there is enough snow for fun and safety, it won’t last much longer.

The forecast for the Johnstown area and the Laurel Highlands for the weekend looks is beginning to look like a typical spring forecast in the Johnstown area. Saturday will bring breezy conditions with the winds dying down overnight Saturday with mostly cloudy skies which are expected to last through Sunday evening. High temperatures are expected to be in the lower-forties on Saturday and the lower-thirties on Sunday. Overnight lows are expected to be in the upper-teens both Saturday and Sunday nights.
