Johnson's Backyard Garden introduction event this Saturday at GauchoGourmet

GauchoGourmet has partnered with Johnson’s Backyard Garden (JBG) to offer a variety of fresh produce every Saturday from 10a.m. to 2p.m. at Gaucho Gourmet. On Saturday January 25 there will be a “JBG Introduction” event and the public is invited to attend.

Johnson’s Backyard Garden will have a display of seasonal produce and sampling as well as information on their customizable Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes for pickup at GauchoGourmet. Members of the San Antonio Chefs Cooperative will be onsite cooking up recipes featuring fresh produce. Guests will be able to experience products from Texas companies including Hudspeth River Ranch, Alexander Vineyard’s fine French wines and Taste Elevated condiments.

GauchoGourmet is a warehouse offering food from Europe, South America and other markets. It is open to the public and offers products like meats, cheese and an olive and salad bar. There are also lunch specials and fresh and organic produce from Johnson’s Backyard Garden on Saturdays.

Johnson’s Backyard Garden is one of the largest organic farms from the Austin area. It’s a small family-run and community supported farm offering Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes and home delivery.
