Blues and guitar legend Johnny Winter is set to rock the Weinberg Center for the Performing Arts in Frederick on Sunday night. The Campbell Brothers open the show with their steel guitar powered gospel music. The show is scheduled to start at 7:30 on March 3, 2013 in what promises to be an amazing night of electrifying gospel, blues and rock.
Johnny Winter is a member of the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame and Rolling Stone Magazine ranks him in a list of the top 100 guitarists of all time. He has produced three Grammy winning albums for blues legend Muddy Water and has earned several Grammy nominations for his own music. He has released over 15 albums and four of them have cracked the top 40. The Campbell Brothers will pen the show with their electrifying steel guitar driven gospel music. The band is led by Chuck Campbell on the pedal steel guitar and Darick Campbell on the lap steel guitar. Phillip Campbell plays the bass and electric guitar. Carlton Campbell keeps the beat on the drums. Sometimes, The Campbell Brothers bring guest vocalists with them. Either way your ears are in for a treat.
