Johnny Weir to host 'Olympic Figure Skating Gala'; live stream, NBC TV time

Olympic figure skating competitions might be over, but there is one more chance to see all the figure skating legends on the ice. On Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. the Olympic Figure Skating Gala Exhibition at the Winter Olympics will have fans seeing famous faces of figure skating. According to Figure Skaters Online on Friday, the special figure skating performances will be discussed by Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski on NBC.

“Very exciting news! Watch me and @JohnnyGWeir call the Gala on Prime Time this Saturday night! #taraandjohnny,” tweeted Tara Lipinski form her official Twitter account on Friday.

The decision of NBC to have Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski hosting the Olympic Figure Skating Gala Exhibition was also confirmed by Johnny Weir.

“Very excited to commentate tomorrow's figure skating gala on @nbc prime time with @Tara_Lipinski and Terry Gannon. Join us Saturday night!” tweeted Johnny Weir from his official Twitter account on Friday.

For fans who want to watch the Olympic Figure Skating Gala Exhibition, there are a couple of choices to see the program. Live stream viewing is not being offered by NBC, but it can be seen on the TSN Channel where available. The live performances will start at 11:30 a.m.

For figure skating fans who want to tune in to the program with Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski, they should be ready for the fun when the NBC programming starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday. According to the NBC TV schedule the performances will be seen during prime time coverage with additional segments seen in late night coverage as well.

This exhibition is the final chance to see the world’s best skaters perform at Sochi 2014. It’s a perfect way to end the games and enjoy one last moment on the Sochi ice with these talented athletes.
