Howard Stern Show personality Johnny Fratto is ready to make Nick Cannon an offer he can't refuse: cease and desist or else.

Representatives for Fratto have issued a cease and desist letter to the America's Got Talent host and Mariah Carey "kept man" following the news that Cannon is in talks to produce an MTV reality show called "Son of a Gun" about rapper Cory Gunz.

Johnny Fratto, son of infamous mobster Louis "Cock-Eyed" Fratto has been in talks to produce a reality show by the same name for several years. Fratto's show is set to focus on the life of a "post-mafia family".

TMZ posted a copy of the cease and desist letter which refers to Nick Cannon as a "B list actor/rapper" whose "primary claim to fame is that he's married to Mariah Carey". The letter also states:
"The intentions of MTV, Mr. Cannon and Gunz seem apparent. As is the case with many minor rappers, especially artists with no believable claim to any “street cred” like Mr. Cannon, Mr. Cannon is seeking to associate himself and Gunz with the persona of Mr. Fratto and his alleged connections to the Mafia underworld, in order to provide himself with a 'credibility' among hip-hop fans that Nick Cannon’s biography can not provide."
The letter demands MTV stop all references to the "Son of a Gun" and threatens legal action if Nick Cannon the production team fails to comply.
A word of advice to Nick Cannon? Leave the reality show. Take the cannolis.

this guy is just a hater but my advice to nick is just to be careful we don't want to hear u r missing next thing you know ur body is found in a river. nobody every really leaves the mob and u got ur wives and kids to think about .
Hmm...just who is trying to get notoriety from who???... The fact is, Fratto's "reality show" has gone and is going nowhere. What better way to bring attention to it again than by going after MTV/Nick Canon? Why doesn't Fratto have a problem with the "Sons of Guns" show?.... Let's see him try to intimidate them! lol
