Johnny Depp wins Favorite Movie Actor again at the 24th Annual Kids' Choice Awards.
Yup, the 24th Annual Kids' Choice Awards was held Saturday April 2, 2011 in Los Angeles, where Johnny, the Pirates of the Caribbean star, (after winning the blimp favorite movie actor trophy for his Mad Hatter role in "Alice in Wonderland,") grabbed a hose and "unleashed waves of green goop on the screaming crowd of more than 10,000 kids — and a few adults."
"You guys are the future," he said Saturday before spraying the slime inside University of Southern California's Galen Center. "Take good care of us."
Johnny, I'm sure was a shoe-in, as he's always a fave of the younger set, (and many of the older set as well!).
As Yahoo reported,
"The screaming mob at Nickelodeon's 24th annual fan-favorite ceremony later revolted by flicking the goo at "Modern Family" co-star Rico Rodriguez and "Arthur" leading man Russell Brand as they presented Eddie Murphy with the award for favorite voice from an animated movie for his role in "Shrek Forever After." Rodriguez and Russel Brand struggled to recite their introduction as the green stuff was slung at them."
"Johnny, I wish you'd drowned them!" screeched Brand.
Jack Black hosted and opened the show by driving a monster truck over two limos and of course was seriously slimed during the production.
I wonder if they've run out of the green goo, hopefully, they'll stock up for next year, where I wouldn't doubt Johnny will take home the favorite actor prize blimp again for his upcoming part in Pirates of the Caribbean; On Stranger Tides...we'll just have to wait and see.
Can't wait for that one to come out this summer!
