Kayne is now the national spokesperson for It's My Prom, a charitable organization that aids young people in making positive decision during their Prom. This is a great for Kayne because he is also the exclusive designer of gowns and evening wear for Johnathan Kayne 2010 Pageant Line and WOW! Prom and Pageant line. Using his extensive pull in the young-adult fashion community can definitely aid in lowering the prevalence of youth related incidences that occur during prom season. Kayne also designs for the pageant circuit, exclusively designing for the Ms. Oklahoma Pageant and has a shoe line.

The WOW Prom Collection featured gowns that could be described as trendy, traditional, or whimsical. Kayne's pallet included many Barbie pinks. dreamy blues, contemporary pairings of green and chocolate brown, and traditional black. No matter what the color scheme the dream of his designs is the intricate beading and draping used in each creation. Kayne's gowns seem to bring out the best in a women's form. His vision is a true testament to his performance on Project Runway.

I was lucky enough to be a model for this show and I just have to say, Kayne's designs are so beautiful you almost can't help but feel like a princess in them. I'm in the 7th photo in the slideshow in the earth-tone cascade gown and from just looking at the gown, I'm sure you can tell why the models had such a good time and for such a good cause!
    Great article!
