John Wall debuts the new Adidas CrazyQuick (Photos)

Adidas revealed the brand new CrazyQuick basketball performance shoe to the sneaker media in New York on Thursday. The new sneaker will be worn by Washington Wizards guard John Wall, who recently made the move from Reebok to adidas. Prior to the switch, Wall had been wearing a player exclusive version of the adidas Top Ten 2000.

The adidas CrazyQuick features a unique outsole that works with the upper via the four "quick" zones that are designed to assist in the "quick" part of the user's game. According to the adidas, this is the most rigorously tested shoe they ever made available.

While John Wall will be wearing the basketball version of the CrazyQuick, different sports will also be taking advantage of the CrazyQuick technology, including football. Robert Griffin III - another Washington sports star - has already worn the CrazyQuick on the field so expect to see some sort of collaborative work between the Redskins quarterback the Wizards point guard in near future.

The adidas CrazyQuick basketball shoe will be available May 1st for $140.00 a pair.
