John Murray highlights A/B East roster at McDonald's all star game

BANGOR-- John Murray averaged 18.6 points and 12 rebounds per game in leading Medomak Valley to the class B Eastern Maine championship.

On Monday, Murray was named one of three finalist for Mr. Maine Basketball. Garet Beal of Jonesport-Beals and Mitchell Worcester of Washburn were the other finalist.

Murray will be one of 10 players that will represent the class A/B Eastern Maine boys roster in the Maine McDonald's senior all star game that will be played at 11 a.m. Saturday morning at Husson University.

Tyler Norris and Matt Palmer from the class A state champion Hamden Academy Broncos are also on the roster.

The rest of the A/B East boys team includes - Kyle Boucher (Maranacook), Tyler Brooks (Presque Isle), Spencer Carey (Lawrence), Devin Duncan (Erskine), Connor Hart (Camden Hills), Garrett Libby (Old Town) and Ben Walls (MDI).
