John Mellencamp rocked out Radio City Music Hall over the weekend with two performances on Friday and Saturday night. The legendary singer and songwriter were in town to give his fans a taste of what he is known for.
The concert at the Radio City Music Hall wasn’t all just music. A segmented show, there was a unique flavor that came with this presentation. There definitely was music, but accompanied by acoustic guitar, a band and then electrical guitar. Giving the audience a chance to really devour his voice and grab on to what we have loved for so long about the legend.
Adding to the music was a film shown to the audience. Sharing with the fans all about his life, he also had his artwork in the lobby of Music Hall.
In addition to the concert, John Mellencamp’s movie ‘It’s About You’ will be sharing a look at the entertainer. The movie, adocumentary of John Mellencamp’s six-week 2009 summer tour with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, will be premiere as one of the featured selections chosen for the 2011 SXSW Film Conference and Festival premieres there on Saturday, March 12.

The worst show I have ever seen Mellencamp perform. People were actually leaving during the show.
Terrible show all the fans who made him what he is today were not happy Will not go see him again
The show in and of itself was very good. That being said, John needs to give more of what the people came for. The show really rocked towards the end.

Wow, grow up people!!! Who wants to see performers doing their same old songs all the time? Loved it.
