National Religious Broadcasters has announced that Dr. John MacArthur will be awarded the NRB Hall of Fame Award at the NRB 2013 Convention and Exposition in Nashville, Tennessee.
In a press release NRB states:
The National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame stands as a witness for current communicators, a showcase of warriors for Christ who live exemplary lives of valor and compassion, blazing trails and leaving paths for succeeding generations to follow. NRB's most prestigious award is presented to an individual NRB member for invaluable contribution to the field of Christian communications, exhibition of the highest standards and evidence of faithfulness in Christ. This year, John MacArthur was selected to receive the award.
National Religious Broadcasters is an international association of Christian broadcasters and communicators. Members come from around the world and work in Christian radio, television, media arts as well as online.
Dr. John MacArthur is the pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California. He is also President of the Master's College and Seminary. A well known speaker and featured teacher on the Grace to You radio and television programs, MacArthur has authored almost 400 books and study guides. Four decades of his sermons are available free on the Grace to You website.
The 2013 NRB Convention and Exposition will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, March 2-5.
