Just this afternoon, Oct. 2, 2013 (Philippine time) pep.ph posted its interview with John Lloyd Cruz while the actor was attending the free screening of "It Takes A Man and A Woman" at the first Cinema One Drive-In screening event last September 27. According to pep.ph, the box office king and most popular male celebrity in this generation is very much willing to do another movie with Sarah Geronimo.
Based on his statement, he wants a brand new story and character instead of doing a sequel of "It Takes A Man and A Woman," his third and reunion movie with the youngest coach of "The Voice of the Philippines." "Yes, of course. But maybe the movie viewing public would like to see us play other roles away from the Miggy and Laida characters, something new and something different, a different movie," he said.
Known for his brilliant and effective performances in movies and TV series', the box office king added that the ABS-CBN President Ms. Charo Concio is asking for him to do the sequel of "It Takes A Man and A Woman," he said "After we released this (It Takes A Man and A Woman) movie, Ma’am Charo Santos-Concio of ABS-CBN was insisting on a part four. So, we’ll see." It can be remembered that his third and reunion movie with the pop princess became hot topic in print and social media due to their remarkable chemistry onscreen. The movie was also featured in the ireport page of CNN.
