The featured playlist this weekend at Wolfgang's Vault is "Songs for Peace," a list with the anniversary of 9/11 in mind made to help keep the idea alive that a peaceful world is something people of all political views are hoping for.

Maybe not surprisingly, the list opens and closes with John Lennon songs: "Imagine" to begin, "Give Peace a Chance" at the end. In between are songs by Bob Marley, Bob Dylan and the Band, the Staple Singers, the Rascals, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits, Black Sabbath, Matisyahu, Los Lobos, Crosby, Stills and Nash, the Byrds and Merle Haggard and the Strangers.

There is no charge to play the songs.
