There are big events today all over. Yoko performs in Iceland, Julian Lennon will unveil the peace monument in Liverpool and "LENNONYC" will be screened free in New York City. Happy birthday, John!

Among items featured in the exhibit: Several Lennon guitars (including his Fender Telecaster), early albums, his signature round, wire-framed eyeglasses, his typewriter (used to write lyrics early in his career), original drawings, his Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band costume, his Album Of The Year Grammy Award for "Double Fantasy"; many handwritten song lyrics, including "Imagine" and "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)"; Beatles photographs and original posters; Quarrymen items; rare historic footage; never-before-seen interview with Ono about Lennon’s songwriting; an "In The Studio with John Lennon" interactive studio exhibit. Museum admission is $14.95 for adults; $11.95 for senior citizens (65+); and $10.95 for students with I.D. (ages 6 – 22) and members of the military.
