John Lennon birthday countdown for Oct. 7: 'LENNONYC' screening at Paley Center

One of the spotlight events today is the screening of "LENNONYC" at New York's Paley Center. The event, moderated by Fab Fourum co-hosts Mitch Axelrod, Rob Leonard, Tony Traguardo and Ken Michaels, will feature Dick Cavett, who conducted a series of wonderful interviews with John Lennon and Yoko Ono on his long-departed (and much-missed) late night talk show, plus disc jockey Dennis Elsas on whose show Lennon appeared and played disc jockey. The Lennon-Ono Cavett interviews are compiled on an excellent DVD set (see picture) that we highly recommend.

Please send in any events we don't have to beatlesexaminer@gmail.com. We're updating daily. And don't forget our very lengthy complete list of events -- it's here.
