On Tuesday night, singer-songwriter and nine-time Grammy Award winner John Legend played the Ed Sullivan Theater for CBS Interactive's award-winning webcast concert series, Live On Letterman. The performance was in support of his upcoming album Love In The Future which is slated for a September 3rd release.
The shows setlist included hits from his earlier albums as well as some songs from the upcoming release.
The soulful night kicked off with his latest single ''Made to Love'' followed by ''Tonight (Best I Ever Had)'' from the Think Like a Man Soundtrack.
He went on to play his first single ''Used to Love You'' followed by ''Who Did That To You'' from the Django Unchained Soundtrack.
The capacity crowd was treated to performances from Love In The Future. ''The Beginning'' was performed standing at the mic stand while ''Who Do You Think We Are'' and '' All of Me'' had Legend crooning from the piano.
Legend continued to showcase his piano skills for his hit ''Ordinary People'' that had the crowd singing along. At times Legend would stop singing during the chorus to hear them, creating a special moment.
CBS Interactive added some new interactive features to the webcast like voting for the last song the artist performs. Voters voted for Legend to perform his up-tempo hit ''Green Light'' from his Evolver album.
Legend kept the Letterman crowd swaying to his piano playing and singing to his soulful songs, making for an incredible show experience.
