John King, who won the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway in 2012, is hoping to pull off another series win at the track on Feb. 21. This time around, he'll be piloting the No. 20 Chevrolet for NTS Motorsports. In 2012, he was behind the wheel of the No. 7 Toyota of Red Horse Racing.

"NTS Motorsports is excited to sign John to race the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado at Daytona," NTS team owner Bob Newberry said. "As a proven winner at Daytona International Speedway, I am confident John and the NTS Motorsports team will be contending for another victory at the season opener. Aligning with a company like (sponsor) is the support our team looks for to win races and compete for the championship."

King has 15-career starts in Camping World Truck Series competition. Aside from his win, he also posted a second top-10 finish at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway in 2012.

As a driver for NTS at Daytona, King will be a teammate to the race's 2013 pole sitter Brennan Newberry.

"I am thrilled to have Brennan back in the No. 24 Silverado to challenge for another pole and the win," Bob Newberry said.

NTS Motorsports plans to field both the No. 20 and the No. 24 full-time in 2014, with Brennan Newberry in the No. 24. Other drivers for the No. 20 have not yet been announced. Ron Hornaday was Newberry's teammate in 2013, driving the then-numbered 9 truck, but Hornaday was fired from the team prior to the end of the 2013 race season.

"I am thrilled to have Brennan back in the No. 24 Silverado to challenge for another pole and the win," Bob Newberry said.
