U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry may be a fan of former NBA star Dennis Rodman for his prowess on the basketball court, but not so much in the political arena, FOX Sports reported today.
Just in case you missed it, on February 26, retired NBA Hall of Famer Rodman, a.k.a. “The Worm” made a highly publicized trip to North Korea where he was the special guest of North Korea’s evil supreme commander, Kim Jong-un.
Many in the media are speculating that Rodman and his entourage were the first known Americans to have ever met Kim. As Rodman was leaving North Korea, he called Kim "his friend" and said that President Barack Obama "should pick up the phone and call" Kim.
Today, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said that Rodman ''was a great basketball player, and as a diplomat, he was a great basketball player.''
Kerry concluded with:
''That's where we'll leave it.”
While visiting his new best buddy, Rodman joined Kim for an exhibition basketball game, several guided tours, private dinners, and a party where the supreme commander got Rodman’s crew “wasted.”
