Fallen designer John Galliano is set to make his comeback. Philly.com reported on Jan. 18 that the controversial designer has been invited back to the fashion world. He's set to work with Oscar de la Renta in the next three weeks.
The rejected fashion designer has been working on his sobriety. He said in a press release that his alcoholism caused him to say harmful things to others, especially those in the Jewish community. He also expressed his sorrow for any hurt he's caused.
Now, he's slowly creeping back into the fashion world. Rumors swirled that the designer could be making his comeback at New York Fashion Week. He's already set to work with Oscar de la Renta.
It seems like he's only taking baby steps for his comeback. The fashion world is still shaky about letting him back in. Oscar de la Renta is inviting him to work in their studio. They're waiting to see how the collaboration will work out.
