Doors drummer John Densmore is on the move again. He has some previously reported appearances that now appear to be turning into, at least a minor tour for his book “The Doors Unhinged: Jim Morrison’s Legacy Goes on Trial.” The big new is that Densmore is taking his book tour to France where the book will be published on April 17th marking the first anniversary of its release.

Densmore will be France starting on April 16th and participate in events that can be supposed will center around the release of the French edition of “The Doors Unhinged.” Densmore’s French tour will culminate with his participation in Disquaire Day (Record Store Day) Francais on April 19th. No Definite venues have been announced for Densmore’s French sojourn but we will keep you updated as appearances and dates are announced.

Record Store Day seems to be an integral part of Densmore's marketing plan for "The Doors Unhinged," last year the book was released Record Store Day and he kicked off his book tour with a Record Store Day appearance (see related articles below).

John Densmore announced appearances for March:

March 6, Zia Records, Las Vegas, NV, 4503 W. Sahara Avenue, 7 pm

March 8, The Booksellers, Memphis, TN, 387 Perkins Rd Ext, 2 pm

March 11, Bergen Community College, Paramus, NJ, 400 Paramus Rd, 7:30 pm (also see the article “John Densmore to be Interviewed for Distinguished Artist Series”).
