Ask anyone who doesn't like football why they watch the Super Bowl and they'll tell you two things; for the commercials and the halftime show.
Being no big fan of this years half time performer who is Madonna, it's the commercials for me.
Super Bowl # 46 is to feature the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. Frankly, who cares? The Super Bowl is all about the commercials and they get better every year.
Thanks to the wonderful people at Disney, I have a tiny teaser of their 'John Carter' ad.
'John Carter' is based on the books by Edgar Rice Burroughs who wrote the 'Tarzan' books.
The cast of 'John Carter' is interesting. Taylor Kitsch plays Carter. Kitsch had a small part in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' and, of course, 'Friday Night Lights'. Also among the cast are; Mark Strong ('Sherlock Holmes'), Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church and Bryan Cranston (Drive).
The story line revolves around a Civl War vet who is transported to a planet occupied by 12-foot tall barbarians. As Carter escapes the giants, he encounters the Princess of Helium. Sounds like a great fantasy offering from Disney for the spring.
