John Birch Society defines free trade at SATP meeting
The Saint Augustine Tea Party (SATP) held its regular open meeting on August 27, 2013 at the Village Inn in St. Augustine, Florida. The scheduled speaker, Keith Dunn, was accompanied by Alex Newman, Foreign Correspondent for “New America”, and Michael Smart, Regional Field Director of the John Birch Society. Mr. Newman provided the major part of the presentation. Mr. Newman revealed that when politicians talk about “Free Trade”, they really mean ‘managed trade’. Free trade, properly understood, would be free trade among the nations; not massive trade agreements with thousands of pages of government regulations. Who enforces the ‘free trade’ regulation? It is unelected, international elitists.
Alex Newman talked extensively about the formation of the European Union (EU). Individual nation states have surrendered to a central authority in Brussels. It appears that the same thing is happening in North America. Similarly, regional groups are also forming in Asia, South America and Africa. It is all part of a global plan leading to global UN governance. The organizations behind the forming of these regional groups are similar to the group that exists in America, known as the “Council on Foreign Relations”.
Michael Smart gave a brief history of The John Birch Society and commented about how The John Birch Society has been ridiculed in the past just like the Tea Party is being ridiculed today. Mr. Dunn invited the St. Augustine Tea Party members to visit The John Birch Society’s webpage and suggested their magazine, “New America”. He also offered CDs for their review. This is the second time that Mr. Smart and Mr. Dunn have addressed the St. Augustine Tea Party. The first time was on July 24, 2012. The gentlemen from The John Birch society received numerous positive comments regarding their presentation. The John Birch Society has conducted massive research on this subject since its inception in the 50’s
“Remember, The North American Free Trade Association (NAFTA) and the new money called the AMERO?
The American public got wind of this, according to Alex Newman, and rejected it. It was re-heated and served
to the United States public during the Bush Administration and rejected again. Agenda 21 and Common Core
are just too more arms of the New World Order,” said David Heimbold SATP Media Chairman.
