Johhny Depp has a near death experience on the set of 'The Lone Ranger" (Video)

The actor Johnny Depp had a near-death experience while filming for "The Lone Ranger" movie. According to Seattle pi published yesterday, the actor fell off his horse during a stunt. “Depp, who said he's had experience with horses on several of his films, said the incident could've left him "horrifically mangled….We were shooting at a different place in the desert where there's these little bumps and things," Depp said. And so the horse that I was on decided to jump a couple of these little obstacles. The horse was unaware that the saddle I was wearing to sit on top of it was jury-rigged, kind of faked... to give the effect that I'm riding bareback. So basically it's not very tight on the horse. So when we came down, the saddle slipped and I went to the left and had the reins here and somehow had the wherewithal to grab the mane of the horse. All very calm for some reason, I figured that fear would kick in but it didn't. I was waiting."

Contactmusic quotes Depp, "All I saw in front of my eyes were these very muscular horse legs and striations of muscles moving, this kind of death machine. One word popped into my head: Hooves. Mind the hooves," Depp explained, to which Letterman asked how he got out of the dangerous situation. "I dropped," Depp answered. "It landed on my back, hit the deck pretty hard and the one thing that saved me was the horse's instinct to lift his front legs and go over me, step over me. Had he not, it was coming straight down into the head."

This time the situation is real, Johnny could have been seriously hurt or die from the fall; yet he didn’t. Back in October there were rumors of Johnny Depp dying. According to Gossip Cop, “The sick rumor apparently began with a bogus “R.I.P. Johnny Depp” memorial page on Facebook, and was fueled in part by the actual recent death of a crew member working on The Lone Ranger, which stars Depp.”

Hollywood Life reports, “The actual victim, Mike Bridger, was cleaning a pool tank on the Los Angeles movie set, when he went into full cardiac arrest and died on Sept. 21, according to TMZ.”

Gossip Cop goes on to say, “Unfortunately, phony death rumors have become all too frequent in recent months, spread quickly on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms. Depp himself was the victim of an earlier hoax in which he allegedly died in a car crash.”

Johnny Depp fans can rest assured; he is not dead and he did have a near-death experience this time around.
