Australia have been dominating the AFC Under 16 Championship qualifiers in Hong Kong as they remain undefeated in their opening three matches this week at the Hong Kong Football Club.
Australia started well with a win against Chinese Taipei to send a strong statement as they beat the Taiwanese 7-0 to open the tournament.
The second match against Hong Kong's neighbors was a demolition as the Joeys completely destroyed Macau beating the Portugese territory 14-1 in the second match,
The third match took place on Friday as the Joeys took on Hong Kong and gave them their first loss of the tournament with a 2-0 win.
It was a tight opening to the third match but Australia broke through in the 33rd minute as Nicholas D'Agostino continued to push for the golden boot with another goal.
Six minutes after that goal Jake William was able to double Australia's lead with another goal as Australia were able to firmly take control of the match.
The result keeps Australia undefeated and means they will need only a point in their last match against Singapore to qualify for the Asian Championships.
