Fans of Joey + Rory were shocked to hear the news that Joey Martin Feek is battling cancer. This couple was a fan favorite on the CMT show "Can You Duet" when it aired in 2008. Since then, they have done a great job on the country scene and picked up a lot of new fans. On Wednesday, Country Weekly shared that she had undergone a hysterectomy to remove the cervical cancer they found.

This couple has been through a lot. They had a little girl earlier this year. It was the first baby for Joey. They were told she looked like there was something wrong and had tests run on her. Come to find out their little girl Indiana Boon Feek has Down syndrome. This diagnosis had to be hard, but they are very happy with their little girl. This is Rory's third child.

Now to hear that Joey Martin Feek had cervical cancer was another blow for the couple. They did catch the cancer really early on and it appears that she won't even need chemotherapy or radiation. Joey is doing great after having the surgery to remove the cancer, but that means that she won't be able to have any more children on her own.

The couple went to their Twitter page to simply share the link to their blog post. They went to their own website to let fans in on what has been going on with them. They were very open with their fans about the cancer and hopefully new happier blog posts are to come soon.

Joey + Rory have found a way to stay strong through all of this and this couple still leans on God during it all. They are such an amazing example to all of us. Fans love to watch this couple and can't wait to hear that they are back on the road again sometime in the future.
