According to the Christian Post on Tuesday, an investigation is underway to find out who stole $600,000 from the Lakewood Church in Texas over the weekend.

The cash, checks and credit card donations totaling $600,000 were taken from a safe for donations given on Sat., March 8 and 9.

Lakewood Church is the largest church congregation in America, with attendance of 43,000 members on Sundays, and someone has robbed them in an unimaginable way.

Embezzlement is a crime punishable by law. In the state of Texas, stealing $200,000 or more, carries a fine of up to $10,000 and at least five years in prison (and up to 99 years in prison) or both.

The thief or thieves must come clean and turn yourself in.

The 'Every Day a Friday: How to Be Happier 7 Days a Week' author, is known for his inspirational sermons.

Joel's positive thinking will make the best of this bad situation. Chances are, he will come up with some uplifting thought, such as this one posted on his Twitter account on Tuesday: Make a choice to live each day happy. You’ll be stronger, you’ll have better relationships, and you’ll accomplish more.

The good news is, the donations are insured.
