Joe Nichols tops the Country Airplay Chart for a second straight week with his hit single 'Yeah'.emm report

For the third straight week, Joe Nichols tops the Country Airplay Chart with his latest hit single “Yeah”. While the song's 67.464 million impressions represents a 2.535 million loss from last weeks total of 69.999 million (and down 3.787 million from its intra-week peak of 71.254 million during the tracking period ending July 26), “Yeah” still maintains a lead of 5.43 million impressions over this week's number two song. “We Are Tonight” by Billy Currington.

Currington's gain this week of 148,000 impressions from last week is already rather slim. However, the track's drop of 3.319 million from its intra-week peak of 65.353 make Currington unlikely to reach Number One next week.

While Lee Brice's “I Don't Dance”, this week's number three song, has dipped under his 63.178 million impressions peak to date, his gain of 2.446 million impressions over his total for the tracking period ending July 19 make his song a more likely successor to take over the top spot than Currington.

Just a little further down, Dierks Bentley's “Drunk On A Plane”, this week's number four song, is a contender for Number One within two weeks, at it takes one of this week's Greatest Gainer awards.

Then again, Nichols audience totals may continue drop slowly, and allow “Yeah” to earn a third week at Number One next week.
