Joe Nichols to play Gold Country Casino on Oct. 25 (Photos)

Show Dog-Universal recording artist Joe Nichols will be making an appearance in the North Valley at Oroville's Gold Country Casino, on Oct. 25. The show starts at 8:00 p.m., and doors open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at the Gold Country Casino website, or in person at the Gold Country Casino box office. Ticket prices run from $20.00 - $50.00.

Joe Nichols has a great traditional country sound, with a contemporary twist. He began his recording career with a self-titled release on an independent label, but really took off when he was signed to the major label Universal South, that his career really took off.

Nichols debut album, "Man With a Memory" was released in 2002, and earned him a platinum disc, with four top 20 singles. His debut single, "The Impossible" peaked at #3, while the follow-up single, "Brokenheartsville" became his first No. 1 hit.

Whether singing upbeat tracks like "What's a Guy Gotta Do" or "Gimmie That Girl," or tearful ballads, like "I'll Wait for You" and "The Impossible," Joe delivers them all in his smooth baritone that fans just love.
