On July 29, it was announced via his record label, Red Bow Records, that country star Joe Nichols has earned his sixth No. 1 single with "Yeah." The song has soared to the top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart, and it holds the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts for the third consecutive week. This is quite an accomplishment since it makes Nichols the second country artist this year to have a three week No. 1 single on the charts (only Luke Bryan's "Play It Again" has spent four week on those aforementioned charts).

"Yeah" was co-written by songwriters Ashley Gorley and Bryan Simpson, as well as co-produced by Mickey Jack Cones and Tony Brown. It has been certified gold, for sales of over 500,000 units to date.

His song's music video, which has exceeded one million views, can be seen on his official YouTube channel, by clicking here.

Aside from his success in the United States, Nichols' "Yeah" has spent two consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Canadian Country Airplay charts. It is the follow-up single to his chart-topping single "Sunny and 75" and both songs are found on his latest studio album, "Crickets."

He had also broke yet another Billboard Country Airplay chart record two weeks ago when "Yeah" jumped from No. 5 to No. 1, which became the biggest chart leap in nearly a year, since Randy Houser had accomplished that with his single "Runnin' Outta Moonlight."

Nichols is touring the country on select dates of Lady Antebellum's "Take Me Downtown" tour, as well as his own headlining dates.
